With Content Vienna, the competition for digital design, five production grants of 10,000 euros each will be awarded in 2024 to creative, digital projects in development – from games to virtual reality to animation – as well as special prizes.

One focus in 2024 will be on digital literacy: two special prizes of 5,000 euros each will support projects that strengthen digital literacy in a digitally shaped society. These projects can range from journalistic formats to games. 

Among all submissions to Content Vienna that have confirmed the corresponding field in the submission form, the special prize "Content Vienna Connecting: South by Southwest" (travel allowance of EUR 1,500 each and ticket worth approximately EUR 1,350) will also be awarded to up to five submitters in cooperation with WKO ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA.

If women in leading positions are decisively and demonstrably employed in selected award-winning projects, an additional women’s bonus of EUR 1,000 will be paid out.
